CANDLES BURNING

One favorite thing my mom would like to do is light and burn candles. She mused, "The warm soft glow of a single candle can change one's entire mood in one quick second." I do agree with her. She used to light lavander scented candles in our bedroom everyday, I sooo loved the smell of it. Everytime I get home from school, I know right away that mom is home. It helped me relaxed and soothed my spirit. She just stopped when dad told her that lighted candles inside an enclosed area is not good for ones health. Albeit, occasionally she still does, like: Christmas, birthdays, valentine's, halloween, all souls day, anniversary, and everytime she's feeling low.

Some people though, buy it just for display. Candles don't have to be used just for looks however. Burning candles with intent can be an awesome way of sending off our prayers to the All-Life. Like when we burn candles when we go to church to pray. Doing it in our homes is also fine.

I think it's my turn to light a candle now. Hhhhmmmmm, what a good idea! And yeah, Halloween is just around the corner, I think I'll light several candles on that day.

Miss Blogging

Whoa, it's been ages since my last blog. The last entry I had was just a repost from Chico's Top Ten. Well, things now a days are a little bit busy and messy at the same time. I've been sickly this past few days, so I've got tons of missed lessons to study. Aside from that, I have to study double because I have to take the set works, quizzes and tests that I've missed. Good for me, I was given this chance to catch up. Dang! That's life I think, hahaha, I sound so adult. lol.

Anyways, B E R months are here; cooler weather is expected and Filipinos are looking forward to the most awaited holiday, CHRISTMAS! Yeah, we are known to have the longest Christmas celebration ever. Imagine, Christmas decorating starts on the onset of ber months, like as early as September and it'll last up to the first week of January. Hahahaha, crazy right? But, that's how we love Christmas. Gifts will shower us on that day, yey, can't wait to be Christmas!!!!!!!

I love language. Ever since I was young, I always loved grammar and its many quirks. I love checking out words that I don’t understand in the dictionary. I love reading grammar books and manuals on writing. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a snob, but I also find it so much fun to study the different grammatical errors that people make. Besides, I make so many myself. But if pointed out constructively and not in a rude way, I actually love it when people correct me when I’m wrong. Better corrected than making the same mistake over and over again.

My Manga Collection

Recently I started reading and viewing videos of Absolute Boyfriend, you'll love it, promise.

Absolute Boyfriend

I am reading into my sixth volume of Absolute Boyfriend when I saw that there was a free dowload of its video on veoh. I was totally in awe, my...a video? I uploaded the whole thing to my computer, though it took me awhile and started viewing it. Awesome, awesome video. It made me shed a bucketful of tears.

Absolute Boyfriend is the creation of Yuu Watase, the mind behind a myriad of strong shojo stories starring teenaged female protagonists, including Imadoki, Ceres: Celestial Legend, and the smash-hit Fushigi Yuugi (all available in English from Viz). (I haven't started reading any of these yet, but I will) Whereas, many of Watase’s protagonists in the past have been endearing ditzes,the same cannot be said for Absolute Boyfriend’s Riiko, who is a strong, intelligent, and above all realistic teenager. The inter-character relationships are what really sell this book, and now its video, with Riiko caught between Night(you'll love him), the flawless man who sees her and the world with child-like awe, and Soshi, her hesitant but caring best friend. Both men are fiercely protective of Riiko, and when Night’s naivete lands her in trouble is when the sparks really start to fly.

The book was first published in 2003 and ran through six volumes before it ended in 2005. I have all six volumes.
Here's the synopsis:

AB stars Riiko, a cute, effervescent every-teen girl. Riiko is part of the popular clique at school, but that doesn’t help her score a date with her crush Ishizeki. She has the perfect guy right under her nose in Soshi, her next-door neighbor and childhood friend who masks his feeling for her in childish insults. Living alone (her parents are abroad on business) and feeling even more so, the desperate Riiko’s luck changes when she meets Gaku Namikiri, a travelling salesman in an oddly futuristic get-up. In a scene that neatly parallels the fateful beginnings of Oh My Goddess!, Gaku thanks Riiko for returning his lost cell phone by asking her if there’s anything she wants.

"Okay," she answers sarcastically. "I want a boyfriend"

The next day, a box is dropped on Riiko’s doorstep. She opens it to discover a naked man inside, but he’s not just any man: he’s Night, a robot from the "Nightly Lover Series" programmed to Riiko’s specifications to be the absolute perfect boyfriend. Night is amazingly life-like, right down the moles on his skin, and impossibly gorgeous. He’s also programmed to be the ideal lover, which means he’s ready to have sex at the drop of a hat, something the young, inexperienced Riiko wants nothing to do with. She’s looking for romance, and in the sweet, loving Night, she thinks she’s found it.

The ending is just so .........hmmmm, better find it for yourself. A must see video. You'll fall in love with this anime, I am sure of it.

WHAT'S INSIDE MY BAG

Obviously, I'm too bored tonight and got nothing to do, that's why I am posting senseless stuff today. (SORRY GUYS!!) My thoughts are scattered all over the place. Like, I really want to post something witty, funny even, but as soon as I sit in front of this PC, my mind freezes, then shatters into million pieces. Haven't been myself lately. Been thinking a lot too........this one person keeps on popping into my head, ugh! What’s with me. I’ve never been like this, ever. Huhuhuhu. Teens life is so crazy.

Anyways, since I'm already blaberring away, we just came from the dress maker, making sure they’ll be able to finish the dress I’m gonna wear to a friend's birthday party tomorrow, 3PM-9PM. I am so excited about this birthday party of hers, it is a cosplay. We're gonna be wearing costumes taken from an Anime character. We will surely have a grand time. Besides, friends and former classmates from Grade 7 will be there. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOUISE! Opppssss, I hope nobody would wear what I'll be wearring.

Ok, let's get back to the topic and try to see if you guys (just the ladies of course) out there has the exact same things I carry around my body bag where ever I go. Here goes.................

LOVING YOVILLE.

Remember, I was so into “My Fairy” application on Facebook? Now I have a new favorite, Yoville. Pretty cool interactive application. At first when I was just new here, it was a bore. All I did is play slots machine at the “casino”, report for work to collect my pay, and redecorate my apartment. Little did I know that this application have so many features; you can actually chat with other Yoville members anywhere in it, attend or create a party for everybody to join, buy sale items or you can trade things you don’t like anymore, and lots more. I’m telling you ( here I go again) or I may say, you will utterly like this game, promise.

As I was saying, you’ll meet new friends here. I did, and I’m just so excited to tell you about this. A 16 year old Canadian befriended me. Boy, we get together a lot just to chat, play water balloons throwing and we get to kick a lot of Yovillians (people who’d just go to your place to look around) out of our apartments. I always have fun doing this. You’ll be mesmerized just how this work, new technology is awesome.

Sorry, I digress. About my friend; he’s from one of the province of Canada, New Brunswick. He’s just a year older than me, cute and smart, and because of him (OPP, his initials), I’ve learned so much about this other part of the world. I just wish that we could really become good friends and not just so called “friends in Yoville”. Well, I could say now, that Canada is number one in my list of must see places. Yey!!!!!!

Try this application, who knows, you might make new cool friends as well.
